Deadline for IWST Papers Extended
The submission deadline for the International Workshop on Smalltalk Technologies (IWST) 2010, which is co-located with the European Smalltalk User Group Conference (ESUG), has been extended to June 18. The workshop will be held in Barcelona, Spain on September 11-17, 2010.

Following the extremely positive feedback that was received after grouping all Smalltalk-related mailing lists, Geert Claes has extended the initiative with a free informational website for anything Smalltalk under the name “The World of Smalltalk.”

UK Smalltalk User Group to Host Camp Smalltalk London
The UK Smalltalk User Group invites everyone to attend Camp Smalltalk London on July 16-18. The event is free, and activities include coding sprints, an introductory tutorial and possibly a Seaside tutorial. Cincom is sponsoring dinner on Saturday, and Pinesoft will be opening up their London offices for the daytime activities. This is a great opportunity to meet other developers, network, discuss ideas, write code, and have some fun.  The current schedule and other logistical details are available on that site, and updates will be distributed as they are finalized.

Cincom Smalltalk Conference Series
We held two Smalltalk one-day conferences last year (April 29, 2009 in Minneapolis, and June 2, 2010 in Cologne) and five half-day conferences this year.
