Cincom continues to provide high value and low cost with a rapid return on investment at low risk.  These products exemplify the Cincom adage:  Simplification Through Innovation®.

Both ObjectStudio and Cincom® VisualWorks® share the same core libraries and foundation.  This means foundation improvements improve both products.  This release has very significant and meaningful upgrades for the foundation and for each product.

Millennial Changes

The foundation of ObjectStudio 8.6 was built with some significant upgrades and millennial changes to the product. For example, Annotations allow information to be conveyed without embedding it in the text; Bi-directional content enables advanced internationalization; Sparklines allow mini graphs embedded in the text.  If you significantly improve something used everywhere in the product, like Text, you significantly improve the potential of everything you can do with the product.
