You probably know that our Smalltalk products support CLDR-based internationalization, which is incredibly useful for building applications for use with many languages that are deployed throughout many parts of the world.The European Smalltalk User Group (ESUG) is happy to report that due to the success of February’s meeting, another Smalltalk event is being planned in Zürich this month.The two-day webcast will help participants learn the Smalltalk programming language, the origins of object-oriented programming, how to read and write Smalltalk code and will allow participants to develop a deeper understanding of objects.Can real-time collaboration shorten the time between idea conception and feature availability? What are the effects on product quality and team productivity? What technical and process challenges need to be overcome? How can it be used by distributed teams?David Chisnall makes reference to Smalltalk in a recent article that examines two pre-eminent examples of object-oriented languages: classes and prototypes.
