Guess now would be the beginning of my blogging for nearly after 3 years with Smalltalk, I really begin to feel the effect of floating with Objects..!!..

Had this really nice experience of a Smalltalk User Conference at Frankfurt and will look forward to other Smalltalk conferences I can attend in future.

There have been hordes of agenda items on my head to push Smalltalk more firmly up on the horizon of IT people around here, and seems like the road is now visible a little more ahead.

Currently beginning to enjoy the idea of tutoring trainees in fundamentals of CS, Objects and Smalltalk. Its like going back to the basics myself and reassuring myself that I still have all that info locked in my brain. Impromptu presentations end up doing a lot more than prepared sessions, and the good part is that the sessions than can be transcribed properly by the trainees..!!

I have this nice article ( maybe a series ) coming up in a magazine and have to finish the testing of a basic application in VisualWorks with MySQL backend over VW Webserver and Smalltalk server pages. Will be looking at working on extending this generic framework I have to make it really unique in its extensibility.

The other agenda on my hands is to get neck deep into VM bits and bytes... lots to pick my way through there and complete my VM plugin project with ports of the Sound, Multimedia stuff from Squeak over the 6 months ahead..or more if it takes..
