This week's podcast goes a bit afield from what we normally talk sbout. Michael just relocated his blog to his own domain, and the approach he's taken to running it is unique enough that we thought it might be interesting. It's definitely in the "less is more" category of software solutions.

To listen now, you can either download the mp3 edition, or the AAC edition. The AAC edition comes with chapter markers. You can subscribe to either edition of the podcast directly in iTunes; just search for Smalltalk and look in the Podcast results. You can subscribe to the mp3 edition directly using this feed, or the AAC edition using this feed using any podcatching software. You can also download the podcast in ogg format.

This week's podcast was recorded at the recent Camp Smalltalk event in London - I spent a few minutes with Alejandro Reimondo and Frank Lesser, talking about their Lesser Smalltalk project. It's been on the Smalltalk world's radar for awhile, since they started building a VM that could run VSE images and Dolphin images; they are now concentrating on VSE.

I have a longer video presentation from the event that I'll release in a week or two; the audio for this podcast is a bit rough, since there was a fair bit of background noise.

To listen now, you can either download the mp3 edition, or the AAC edition.
This week's podcast is part another in our series of package reviews from the public repository - next week we'll have part 1 of an interview with Eliot Miranda up, about his Cog VM.

There's some crackling in my audio at the end of the podcast - I think it's time for a new headset. Sorry about that, it should be addressed before we do another recording.

To listen now, you can either download the mp3 edition, or the AAC edition.
This week's podcast features our Product Manager, Arden Thomas. This is part 2 of two; if you didn't listen to part 1, you might want to grab that episode first.

The upcoming release of ObjectStudio 8.2.1

The upcoming release of VisualWorks 7.7.1
