The European Smalltalk User Group (ESUG) will be hosting the 23rd annual European Smalltalk User Group Conference in Brescia, Italy on July 13 through 17.
Richard Eng, Campaign Director for Smalltalk Renaissance, tells us that as part of a campaign to promote the Smalltalk programming language, they want to conduct a Canada-wide software competition that’s open to all secondary school students. The money will be raised for scholarship prizes as well as to cover minor advertising costs such as printing and mailing.
