Meeting clients’ needs and requirements is a top priority for the Cincom Smalltalk team. Therefore, in an effort to better meet the platform needs of our clients and to better focus our efforts on client requirements, the Cincom Smalltalk Team has created a survey to determine and understand which platforms clients are currently running Cincom Smalltalk on, and which platforms clients are planning to run on in the future.
There are multiple ways of starting your Smalltalk image. Some you may not be aware of, but you would find them useful. This is primarily for developers who have more than one version of VisualWorks installed on their system. Configuration files make it easy to manage and run images from multiple versions.
ESUG 2012 was held in Gent, Belgium this year. Gent has a historic section that has a wonderful feel to it—brick buildings, magnificent cathedrals, cobblestone streets and canals.
