Cycle for Survival – Help Battle Cancer
Unfortunately, each and every one of us has been touched by cancer in some way.
Cincom Smalltalk™ Program Director, Suzanne Fortman, will once again be participating and helping to raise money for this year’s “Cycle for Survival”—a high-energy event that works toward the goal of beating rare cancers.
According to Suzanne, this year is a little different for the team. Their team captain, Jamie Gallagher, passed away suddenly in January 2017, so they ride not only to battle cancer, but to honor an incredible man.
Jamie cheered the team on throughout the event and regularly encouraged them to bring in those donations. He always reminded them of why they do this as well as how fortunate they are to do this. This would have been Jamie’s 5th year of participating in the event, and in his previous four years as team captain, he helped raise almost $40,000 toward the effort to beat rare cancers.
