#ESUG16 Travel and Venue Information
Smalltalk enthusiasts from all over the world will be gathering together in Prague, Czech Republic to attend tutorials, workshops and demonstrations on various subjects pertaining to Smalltalk. #ESUG16 will take place on August 22 through 26.
According to the ESUG website, the following information will help you on your travels to and from the conference, as well as provide you with information on accommodations while attending the conference.
The ESUG Board recommends the following hotels, which are close to the conference venue. Please note, attendees MUST choose among them, make reservations and pay on their own.

To call a taxi, use AAA and dial +420 222 333 222. Please do not take the taxi on the street. If you do so, please always agree to the price in advance. More information can be found here.
Please take bus number 119 from the airport and get off at the final stop, Nádraží Veleslavín, which is approximately 14 minutes or eight bus stops. Bus 119 leaves from outside the Arrivals terminal and runs from around 4.20 in the morning until around 11.45 at night. Then you must change buses to underground and take the train direction Depo Hostivař using the same ticket to continue to your destination. Please get off at the metro station Dejvická, which is four minutes or two stops. Another possibility is to take tram number 26 or number 5 from the tram stop Nádraží Veleslavín to Dejvická, which is nine minutes or seven stops. For more information, click here.
The #ESUG16 conference/summer school will be held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Czech Technical University at Thákurova 7 166 29 Prague 6 – Dejvice. The Faculty of Civil Engineering is conveniently located close to the metro station Dejvická. This area is not full of tourists, and it has good restaurants and nice hotels. It is situated within an 18-minute walk to the Prague castle area and is four stops away from the historical center.
