Cincom ObjectStudioNow Available! Cincom® ObjectStudio® 8.5

Cincom ObjectStudio and Cincom® VisualWorks® share the Cincom Smalltalk Foundation, which consists of shared libraries, the virtual machine (VM) and other key components. To learn more about the updates to the Foundation, click here.

The ObjectStudio 8.5 release includes:

  • (New!) New Graphical User Interface (Preview)
  • New widgets
    • ProgressBar
    • Marquee Dialog
  • (New!) New COM preview
  • Better font integration
    • Can use all fonts
    • All forms (bold, italicized, underlined, etc.)
  • Modeling tool refinements
    • Improved class imports
    • Improved context help
  • Mapping tool refinements
    • Better table creation
  • New ODBC api
