The first meeting of the Vancouver Smalltalk Developer Group, which was held on Wednesday, May 16, went very well.
Nine people were in attendance, and there was an open forum with the attendees discussing whatever was on their minds. This made for a nice variety of topics and a great opportunity to share ideas and experiences with other Smalltalkers.
A specific date for the next meeting has not been set at this time. Instead, if you’re interested in attending, you can indicate the date that is best for you by visiting http://www.doodle.com/bycw6xw9xtggt5ru.
Also, some of the attendees mentioned that they can provide a location for the next meeting. If a location cannot be determined, the default location will be “The Office”—a collaborative working space in the heart of Vancouver’s vibrant downtown. For more information on this location, visit http://www.meetup.com/theofficevancouver/.
The Group is open for suggestions regarding discussion topics. If you have a subject or topic that you’d like to discuss, contact Francois Stephany at firstname.lastname@example.org.
