Cincom Smalltalk Speakers Shine at a Very Successful STIC’12

On March 28, 2012, in Smalltalk Industry Conference, STIC, by Jeremy Jordan

The conference was filled with many informative sessions, and we’re happy to say that many of the presentations that truly stood out were given by our own Cincom Smalltalk speakers!

We’re happy to report that STIC’12, which was held at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi on March 19-21, was a huge success!  The conference, which is one of the biggest yearly events in the world of Smalltalk, may now be just a pleasant memory, but it left a lasting impression for all of those who were in attendance.

"Building a Business with Cincom Smalltalk"

Arden Thomas and Dirk Verleysen presenting

The way that Cincom Smalltalk was portrayed via demos and dynamic presentations was a pleasure to witness. The two Cincom® ObjectStudio® demos were particularly impressive, and the demo by Cincom Smalltalk Product Manager, Arden Thomas, and Cincom Smalltalk Software Engineer, Dirk Verleysen, on “Building a Business with Cincom Smalltalk” was a real conference highlight.  In fact, it prompted one well-known attendee to say that it was the best ObjectStudio demonstration he had ever seen!

We’re working just as hard as we can to get these presentations online for you, so that you can witness the excitement and enthusiasm that was so prevalent at STIC’12.
