Sci-Fi Convention Promoters Offer Discount to STIC’12 Attendees

Attendees of the Smalltalk Industry Conference (STIC’12) that takes place at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi on March 19-21, 2012 have even more to be excited about. Just prior to the conference on March 16-18, they will have an opportunity to attend CoastCon Inc.’s Sci-Fi Convention at a group discount of $30 for a weekend membership, which is $15 off of the regular at-the-door rate of $45 for weekend membership.

CoastCon, Inc. is a non-profit organization that hosts Mississippi’s Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention. Each year CoastCon, Inc. hosts a three-day convention, and the theme of this year’s convention will be “CoastCon 35: The Dark Crab Rises!” During this convention, they will raise money for their sponsored charity, the Humane Society of South Mississippi.

You sci-fi fans out there will recognize some of the big-name celebrities that will be featured at the conference including Lindsey Wagner from the classic, “The Bionic Woman” and now “Warehouse 13,” Patricia Tallman from “Babylon 5,” Steve Kenson and Jon Leitheusser of “Mutants and Masterminds” and many more including Timothy Zahn, who will be the Author Guest of Honor. He has written more than 30 science-fiction novels, including eight “Star Wars Expanded Universe” novels.
