Principles of OO Design, or Everything I Know About Programming, I Learned from Dilbert

Smalltalk Engineer, Alan Knight, tells us about a column he wrote several years ago for a magazine called The Smalltalk Report. The article, which is titled, “Principles of OO Design, or Everything I Know About Programming, I Learned from Dilbert,” is still remembered, and people still frequently ask Alan about it. 

The article lists five basic principles that relate well to corporate environments that have adopted OO principles, as well as other rules to live by.
