What's with IE?
I switched to Firefox awhile back, and have been mostly pleased with it. Every so often, I follow a link and one of two things happens:
- Firefox pops up, and IE pops up
- Just IE pops up
Are there links that have some IE specific Javascript that I'm not noticing, or is IE just refusing to let go? Highly irritating...

I had stopped using FireFox because it and BF didn't play nice together on Windows. I hope you've fixed that now :)

You would have to explain that comment...

This was back several months ago and random dreck would show up at the end of links when I would try to launch a browser from BF. It seemed somewhat random, and it was easier just to roll back to IE, but if you don't have that problem, I'll try FireFox again.

Troy,
I'm not seeing that - it was a bug that I fixed. Now, if someone could tell me how to get urls I spawn to Firefox (not from within Firefox) to open in a new tab of an existing browser...

on unix that can be done with the remote option:
firefox -remote 'openUrl(http://www.cincom.com,new-tab)'

Well, I'm far behind the technology curve, using Firebird, the predecessor of Firefox on Windows, but I've got no problems launching it from BF.
New Tabs in Firefox

I installed the Single Window Extension for Firefox, and my bottom feeder links open in a new tab. So do links from emails, word documents etc. I'm running Windows XP
