Matrix Revolutions
I'm not going to post spoilers or anything - just a sense of disappointment. They could have wrapped the series up by tacking 3-45 minutes onto the second movie; the balance of this was fluff. Cool special effects fluff, but fluff nevertheless.

There were some parts that seemed just sort of thrown in to fill time. It was fun to watch, and I'm sure that I'll watch it again, but it wasn't as engaging as the first or second film. Now waiting for the Return of the King next month. If the third LOTR film is as good as the third book, we're in for a treat. :-) -Carl

"... the movie could have been wrapped up in an extra 45 minutes attached to the end of the second episode. I would rather think the opposite, they needed another few hours to wrap up the climatic end. This means that in order to wrap up the movie and provide the depth to all the characters they needed another movie. Ah, maybe they'll correct some of the perceived flaws in the Director's Cut." http://mythic.ca/#RevolutionsCompressed
