Ahh, Predictions
I just ran across the first prediction page for next year (well, at least the first one I've seen). The first item is highly amusing:
Mozilla will release an upgrade to Thunderbird that interfaces to gmail through an API, and has full support of labels, archiving, etc
Hmm. I hate to break it to you, but that happened, a long while back. Gmail is available via pop and smtp already (which is how I use it). Eudora interfaces to it just fine, and I have to assume Thuderbird does as well. The rest seem reasonable, although number 14 is, well, amusing. And 16? Delusional at best :)

Not really...

Hi James. Not really. IÂm not interested in the POP3/SMTP type integration. I am talking about a desktop email client that has FULL functionality - including labelling (tagging), search, etc. I believe this will need to be through an API, although a mod of the IMAP protocol might do it? I'll update the item to make it a bit clearer. Thanks for the link
Why not Enterprise

Unfortunately, I reckon that #16 (the return of Enterprise) is probably wishful thinking. But I can always hope. On #14 (Dave Winers predicted move to NOLA) - the first half I stand by. I predict that will happen. The second half, well thats tongue in cheek.
