Doc Searls points to the simple errors of a Santa Barbara (CA) news outlet decrying the "lack" of local bloggers. Every so often there are "why don't they trust us" articles in the press - the thing is, if they can't execute a simple web search, what can they do?

Not invented here. If it's not in print, it doesn't exist. Appalling state of affairs for a news organzation in the 21 century, but if you really really want to see folks who don't get it, The Arizona Republic Blogs. Remove beverages from around the keyboard before reading.
