Blogging *is* Big

Blogging isn't going to change real world events? Tell that to the gay couples in San Francisco getting bouquets of flowers from people all over the world, organized from a blog. Tell that to Iranians and Iraqis able to communicate worldwide. Blogs do have real power -- the power of communication. What us longtime bloggers have to remember is that the message is what is important. Just because you've been around for a long time doesn't mean you're the king ... the Internet has seen its fair share of rises and falls. It sounds like he's more upset about the egomaniacs out there. Whatever man. Blogs aren't the press -- you don't have to read them to get critical information. If you can't take someone's ego, don't read their blog. Sending them traffic is only positively reinforcing their opinion that they are great! :)
