I always thought this guy didn't get OOP, and this post just proves that point.

What an absolute nutjob. I think he barely gets OO - but take a read of what he wrote about Functional programming. Good god? Where did he learn this stuff??
I agree

He spouted things like "This kind of functionality is not prone to building larger systems though. You need another kind of system for that. OOP will be used for fixed functionality systems only."
My reaction is what?!?! It's blatently obvious he haven't a clue to what OOP is. I had a hard time showing those "old" guys what OO programming is but they are stuck in the old-style procedural programming. Also, there is Microsoft's alleged "Best Practices and Patterns" and their software factory is touted as "best practices". This massive brain-washing progaganda forced me to give up on my co-workers. Now that guy is spouting more nonsense - thanks a lot!
Eventually, I may leave and work for the people who *gets* it or simply start my own business...

That article is so full of half baked opinions it's not even funny any more, a complete waste of time, even for entertainment purposes.

Come on, give the kid a break. He's young, inexperienced and is never going to be a top-notch programmer. However, instead of knocking him down, why not help him up the ladder? Explain where he's wrong and how to improve his skills and knowledge.

New Level of Ignorance

I read a lot of stupid or ignorant things on the internet, and I usually just let it pass without comment, but this guy is just so ignorant that it's disturbing. This might be half acceptable if he positioned himself as a novice who is trying to make sense of the different styles of programming for his own benefit but he's actually positioning himself as some sort of expert and prophet.
