I've busily been listing the podcast into various podcast directories beyond iTunes. You can also find us on Odeo and Podshow now, which is pretty cool, IMHO.

That's a great idea. How'd you accomplish that? Is it as simple as pointing them to your existing feed and adding title/description?

It was mostly that simple, yes. The user interface for adding a podcast was a bit challenging, I thought - truth be told, I'm still not sure what I did to get to the screen where I was prompted for the feed. Having said that, that was all I had to do. I also added myself to Odeo (and a bunch of other directories) the same way. Over at Yahoo, I keep getting a message about a database error - since none of the other directories have had issues, I have to assume it was on their side.
I can't take credit for thinking of this. A commenter told me I should add the feed to Yahoo's directory. As I said above, that didn't work. They did, however, have a handy list of other directories, and I started adding the feed to them. I took a look at Podshow on a whim, and it was just a matter of filling in information.
