Civ4: I wanted to reboot anyway...
I like Civ4. However, it does not like my notebook. Every time I play, it makes Windows wonky. The most common problem? The File dialog - the standard Windows file dialog - won't open properly after I play the game. It's just bizarre.

I can heartily recommend getting a Macbook Pro and then treating the Windows partition as the gaming sandbox it should be. Civilization 4 runs fantastically on it.

David, I assume this is a bootcamp installation, right? Can you share the specs of the MacBook Pro that Civ 4 is running on?
