good news?

It's probably going to end with a cliff-hanger this Friday, and then it's a seven month wait until things are resolved!

Full Season != 20

I don't care what they say, a full season is 26 episoded. Anything less is, well less!

Quality versus Quantity

[Mousky] March 9, 2006 11:37:14.707

I would rather have 20 quality episodes than 26 mediocre episodes. This whole 26 episode thing is an invention of American TV as a means of stretching a TV show over a "season" thereby increasing advertising opportunities and revenue. I'll take quality over quantity any day.

Full Season != 26

Full seasons haven't been 26 episodes on the major American networks for about ten years now.  The standard season is 22 episodes.

tempting to gripe

I initially had the temptation to gripe and say something about TV keeping to the French (or other European) work week/work year :) But, when you look at what goes into a show these days and compare it to the shows of many years ago, I think we get pretty good value, at least on the sci fi shows. Some of the scripts and parts seem very tough.

Twenty-six episodes of Lost in Space, or 20 episodes of the current BSG--seems like a no brainer to me :)
