I'd like to know what people think about this look for Cincom Smalltalk:

Meh. Did you like, pay someone to draw it? Or was your daughter playing with fonts in photoshop?

The style looks like something from the early 1980s. Of course, so does the name "Cincom".

It looks nice enough, but consider putting it up as a gif or png file. I can see the jpeg compression artifacts, just barely, but since the image is basically two-tone (three toned actually) there's no need to post a lossy image. :-)

The s in smalltalk feels smushed, while the two L's feels almost
ridiculously big. My wife wasn't too fond of the arrow embedded between
the l & k. Overall, the design feels a little unbalanced.
I wish...

...you'd ressurrect the "ObjectWorks" name. I liked it best.
not bad but the green?

maybe it should be SmallTalk 2.0.... ;-)
seriously i think its not bad. not sure about the shade of green though.
did you have other ones we could look at or was that the only cut?
could you maybe make the arrow a mouse and cord instead?
Ick

Looks like an intern did it in about five minutes, in his first-ever session on Microsoft Paint.

I can make a recommendation if you want. (not me)
It's Smalltalk, not smalltalk

Tradition: Smalltalk with a capital 'S'. smalltalk looks weak. And it's a good thing you didn't use SmallTalk ... we'd be all over you for that one ;-)

Nice try, but....
Ever changed a newborn's diaper? That's the color of the word "smalltalk".
Try again...
