Linux Today reports that RedHat screwed the pooch with Fedora:

As I sit before my new installation of Fedora Core 2 (FC2) I'm reminded of the first time I had to put down a beloved dog. FC2 suffers from some fatal flaws. For most people, it will be best to put this malformed whelp out of its misery and wait for the Fedora Project's next litter of pups, which promises some awesome powers.

A badly written review

While there have been a couple of negative reviews (this one and another one, both from people who where openly against Red Hat, Fedora and GNOME), moste of the review are positive. As an example, see this one: http://www.madpenguin.org/cms/html/47/1570.html.

BTW, what about creating a Bluecurve look and feel for Pollock?

The Fedora project is meant to "showcase new technologies that may eventually make it into the Red Hat products." So Fedora is by definition a beta release, no matter what the Fedora people call it. All the people working on Fedora have emails @redhat.com, so expect them to keep to the letter and spirit of what their corporate masters demand.

So, if you run Fedora on your desktop, you're warned. If you run Fedora on a server, you're insane.
