Wow, you're trying some really cool stuff. Would it be possible to put someting into the blog heading to tell us what some of it means? For example, a small table that defines fireback, permalink, pingback, and trackback? I read part of the Ping spec you referenced. I think I understood what it's supposed to do, but without a figure to relate the terminology to who's doing what, everything past the intro was pretty opaque. Techies never seem to learn about how many words a picture is worth.
