This page documents system changes between various versions of VisualWorks. Between releases the system typically undergoes some level of change; classes are added and removed, methods are added and removed, and much refactoring goes on. The documentation here covers changes to the base system (visual.im as shipped in VW 2.5.x) - meaning that the VW core, UIPainter, and ObjectLens libraries have been included. Those 3.x, 5i, and 7 loadable libraries are included since they were part of the base image in VW 2.5.x. What this does not cover is other add-ons - specific database interfaces, BOSS, VisualWave, etc. In order to test changes there, you can do the same thing, substituting the specific file-in (or parcel source file) as the thing to be loaded into the Change List Tool. The scripts (available in the link below) should be easily modifiable if you would like to output the information in some other form than HTML; I did this to make Wiki page production easier. Additionally, the Change List items have much more information than that which I've extracted; inspecting the items is a useful exercise in its own right.
