CincomSmalltalkWiki: Public StORE Access

In the interest of getting additional feedback on StORE, I would like to announce the availability of a public StORE database. I would also be happy to see this repository used for donations of code (goodies and otherwise) that people would like to make available.

Details:

The database is PostgreSQL. To access it from VisualWorks, you will need to follow this link: wiki.cs.uiuc.edu/VisualWorks/PostgreSQL+Libraries in order to get the EXDI and StORE connection that Bruce Badger (thanks Bruce!!!) has made available. The latest (at the time of product release) version of these libraries is now shipping with VisualWorks as well.

In order to get a login id, you will need to access this small application:

www.cincomsmalltalk.com:8008/launch/PostGresRequest

Follow the instructions, and you will be led through a process (via email and web application) that results in granting you an account. In the last email sent to you, you will be given instructions an accessing the database. Please send any and all comments about the access or the repository to me jrobertson@cincom.com.
