On Linux wheel events are mapped to mousebuttons 5 and 6, this code overrides the dispatch of those button's events iff the platform is Linux.
Written for vw7, it does not work on earlier versions.
Obsolete since vw 7.2.1(?), this functionality is now in the base image :-)
